Conscientious Consuming
Explained: Conscientious Consuming:   The Goal of the Web Site

Just as all people have different values and conscience, we all have different causes we believe in. What’s important to one person may not be important to another. This web site is a resource for people who believe in conscientious consuming—whatever their conscience.

As a central location for conscientious consuming information, any citizen journalist can submit an article for publication. Articles should be formatted in a similar way to the Tobacco article with URL references for any factual statements. As a citizen journalist the persuasiveness of your argument is based on the facts. The first question anyone will ask (and you should answer) is, "What’s your information source?" Only articles that are scrupulously referenced will be published.  Authors will need to frequently update their articles as information and sources change.

The site is not meant to reflect the views of any one viewpoint. Overtime, this site will have many different articles on many different subjects and viewpoints. The site will hopefully have articles on both sides of issues, leaving it up to the reader to decide which is appropriate for their conscience!
